The Rise of Guiyang's Used Car Export Base

Recently, reporters learned from the Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone that since its establishment more than two years ago, the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base has exported more than 3,800 used cars, achieving an export value of 550 million yuan, becoming a core engine for the high-quality development of Guizhou's used car export industry. Based on a comprehensive service system built upon three core advantages, the base provides full-cycle support for enterprises going global, continuously releasing the benefits of industrial agglomeration.

A full-chain service ecosystem reduces costs and increases efficiency for customers. The base has gathered more than 30 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, building a complete ecosystem of "vehicle acquisition—preparation—inspection—customs declaration—logistics—overseas services." Leveraging the policy advantages of the Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the base has opened a priority customs clearance channel, improving customs clearance efficiency by more than 50%; the tax refund cycle has been significantly reduced to 3-5 working days, significantly reducing the capital turnover pressure on enterprises and allowing them to complete the entire business process without having to travel extensively.

Precise overseas deployment solves market expansion challenges. Leveraging its unique location in Southwest China, the base cultivates emerging markets in Central Asia, Russia, and Africa, establishing nine overseas operation centers to provide localized warehousing, sales, and maintenance services. Personalized adjustments such as vehicle chassis reinforcement and fuel standard adaptation are available to meet diverse market demands, completely resolving clients' concerns about "easy overseas expansion, difficult after-sales service," and building a stable overseas sales network for businesses.

Innovative logistics models break down key barriers to overseas expansion. The base collaborates deeply with logistics groups to launch "door-to-door" dedicated logistics, reducing transportation time by nearly two-thirds compared to traditional methods; utilizing logistics channels such as the China-Laos Railway, the cost per vehicle is significantly reduced. Simultaneously, it integrates with cross-border e-commerce B2B models to achieve coordinated overseas expansion of "whole vehicles + spare parts," further broadening clients' profit margins.

"The base's full-chain services and overseas resources make our overseas expansion easier and more efficient," said a representative of a resident company. In the future, the base will continue to deepen its service capabilities, helping more used cars go global and promoting the continuous upgrading of Guizhou's foreign trade.
